Content Slider

Hi Vlad
For some reason i cant get the content slider to work via your plugin Ultimate Shortcodes.
When i try to insert this i get the following on the page.
[su_content_slider pages=“yes”][/su_content_slider] .
I would be grateful for any assistance.

Hello,

First, Ultimate Shortcodes is a third party plugin :slight_smile:
Second, where are you trying to use it? On the demo page this is the shortcode we’re using for the content slider inside the Shortcodes Ultimate widget:

[su_content_slider effect="fadeUp" autoplay="3" style="light"]
[su_content_slide]<a href="http://example.com/"><img alt="" src="http://demo.athemes.com/moesia-pro/wp-content/uploads/sites/30/2014/09/mixer-349850-1280.jpg" /></a>[/su_content_slide]
[su_content_slide]<a href="http://example.com/"><img alt="" src="http://demo.athemes.com/moesia-pro/wp-content/uploads/sites/30/2014/09/macbook-407126-1280.jpg" /></a>[/su_content_slide]
[/su_content_slider]

Thank you once again Vlad.
I found the cheat sheet and inserted that but the mistake i made was I left a / too many after each photo. Its working now :-)) Great 3rd party plug in by the way…

  1. Is there a code to make all the photos appear the same size in the content slider or is it just better to make them all the same size on picmonkey?

  2. On the project section how do i go about not having a link attached to each photo and is there anyway to place some small text over each one?

I have a site i made I am learning on. It is http://www.maximpactwebsites.com/moesiademo/ if that helps at all…

Thankyou again. Athemes support is second to none.

  1. I don’t think there is as it wouldn’t make much sense. Probably cropping your images before you upload is the best way to go.
  2. You would need to add this to a custom CSS plugin:

.project-image:hover > .pp-icon {
     right: 37%;
}
.link-icon {
     display: none;
}

Sorry, there is no way to add text over it.
