Content section width

Hi,

I’m looking to find where I can change the content are width of an article. I am not able to find the line for that in the style.css folder. I was able to change the sidebar width but now I want to use this free space for the content area in order to make it larger.

Thank you!
Michael

Hello Michael,

Please provide a link to your website and describe what exactly you want to achieve.

Hi,

For example in a blog page (ex. genopharm.info/citalopram), I want the content section to be larger in order to see the image more clearly on computers. I can borrow some space from the sidebar section. I can’t find the code line in the theme which will let me do this.

Thank you,
Michael

Hello Michael,

That width is controlled by Bootstrap CSS, see .col-md-8 class. You can either change Bootstrap classes in PHP template and override that PHP template in a child theme to avoid losing modifications after theme update or you can write your own CSS styles, but please note that you will have to handle mobile/tablet view as well.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
