Hello and thanks for this great work you’ve done with this awesone theme.
I would to change the icons with custom images in the info contact widget, i tryed to put
background-image: url(http://…myImage.png) in the .fa-phone:before css but still not work.
I will appreciate any hint.
Thank you in advance and sorry for my poor english.

Hi there,

Although info widget is created to allow users to fill in few simple fields, you really don’t need to break your head with custom css code, because you don’t need to use that widget. In order to create csutom icons with text in same manner add text widget to one of footer widget ares and then choose desired icons on font awesome page http://fontawesome.io/icons/ - I will use binoculars as an example http://fontawesome.io/icon/binoculars/ . So, you have to copy html code from that page and just add color inline style and some text after it, like this:

<i class="fa fa-binoculars" aria-hidden="true" style="color:#d65050;"></i> Hey, I am some custom text after custom icon

of also you can add non breaking space to create some spacing between icon and words and br tags to create spacing between lines like this:

<i class="fa fa-binoculars" aria-hidden="true" style="color:#d65050;"></i> &nbsp; Hey, I am some custom text after custom icon
<br><br>

and multiplying that code few times http://screencast.com/t/83V0PlnnjBQ will create same effect http://screencast.com/t/yQdpHGbffwo7 :

<i class="fa fa-binoculars" aria-hidden="true" style="color:#d65050;"></i> &nbsp; Hey, I am some custom text after custom icon
<br><br>

<i class="fa fa-binoculars" aria-hidden="true" style="color:#d65050;"></i> &nbsp; Hey, I am some custom text after custom icon
<br><br>

<i class="fa fa-binoculars" aria-hidden="true" style="color:#d65050;"></i> &nbsp; Hey, I am some custom text after custom icon
<br><br>

Of course, you can use different icons on different lines or even you can use img tag http://www.w3schools.com/TAgs/tag_img.asp to specify image for each line. It is much easier and versatile in this way, and you don’t need additional css knowledge.

Best Regards!
