Click on Menu items and the content appears underneath home page

Hello! Whenever I click on any of the MENU items at the top of my home page, instead of the new page coming up over the home page, I have to scroll to the page underneath to see the content.

Is there a simple fix for this? Maybe in its creation, I have something set incorrectly. If someone could give me some help on this, I would be grateful.

Thanks.

Hello there,

Please share a link to your site here, so I can inspect and suggest you with the possible CSS code that resolves it.

Hello there,

Thank you for sharing.

Edit your menu items. Then use custom links instead of default page menu type. In the URL field, enter http://yoursite.com/page-slug/#content. For About Us, you’ll have http://www.mercylab.foundation/about-us/#content

Thank you, Kharis, for replying and helping.

I am a beginner website builder and really tried to understand your instructions, but honestly do not know what you mean.

Could you please clarify the steps for me?

Thank you.

Hello there,

From your site admin area, go to Appearance > Menus. Edit your main menu. Then use Custom Links to replace the existing page menu. In the URL, enter a link with this format: http://s.com/p/#content. Replace http://s.com/p/ with your page link.
