Changing widget title box default colour to black

#1

Hi there,

You will see on this page that the titles of my google maps widgets are grey (Vancouver Burlesque Centre) and (One Thousand Rivers). This applies to both the text inside the box, and the outline outside the box.

What part of the style.css do I need to change to make that default black?

Also, if I could make the text inside the box smaller that would be great.

Cheers!

Hi,

You can apply custom css code below, and style it to your liking:

div#panel-555-3-1-1 h3.widget-title,
div#panel-555-3-1-2 h3.widget-title {
    color: #767676;
    font-size: 25px;
}

You can apply the code with simple custom css plugin. Result should look like this http://screencast.com/t/SXeI2fkv3

Thank you - I have installed and activated Simple Custom CSS but how do I use it? Where am I copying the code you have mentioned above?

Ok, so I found the Custom CSS plugin under “appearance” in the dashboard, and pasted the code as follows:

div#panel-555-3-1-1 h3.widget-title,
div#panel-555-3-1-2 h3.widget-title {
    color: #000000;
    font-size: 15px;
}

Updated my page and it’s still grey and huge. . . am I missing something?

Hi,

Clear browser cache, and caching plugin cache if you are using one.
