Changing the Size of the Social Widget Icons

We need to have the linkedin & twitter icon on the footer. However, the icons are really large and they are centered when I would like them to be aligned to the left. Any way to change these? Thank you!

Hello there,

You can use this CSS code and do some adjustments to meet your need.

    .social-menu-widget {
      float: left;
    }

    .social-menu-widget li {
      padding: 8px 10px;
      width: 40px;
      height: 40px;
      line-height: 25px;
    }

    .social-menu-widget a:before {
      font-size: 18px;
    }

To apply extra CSS code to your site, add it to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

When I go to Appearance > Customize there is no “Additional CSS” there :frowning:

Are you running the latest version of WordPress? I’d strongly recommend you to upgrade if haven’t yet.

I updated it & put in the code but now it’s showing as bullet points and they are stacked top of each other instead of side by side.
