Changing Social Icon Colors

Dear support,

I want to change the color of the social icons (FB, Twitter, etc) from the primary color to another color. It would be best if I could change them separately. I have looked in the forum, but could only find a solution for Sydney that I can’t seem to get working in Moesia.

I hope you can help me, and thanks in advance!

Best,
Maarten

Hi,

Here is the CSS code to change the social icon’s color:

.social-area a:before {
    color: yellow;
}

Put the code into Customize > additional CSS

Awan

Hello there,

For Moesia’s, you can use this CSS code:

    .social-area a:before {
      color: #fff000;
    }

To apply it to your site, add it to Additional CSS of your site customizer.

Hey guys,

Thanks a lot! Is there also a way to change them separately? So, I can give FB the FB blue color and Twitter the Twitter blue color for example.

Would be great!

Best,
Maarten

Hi,

You can use this code to add a color for each icons.
Below is for Facebook icon. for Twitter account, you can change the href value to twitter.com

.social-widget a[href*="facebook.com"]::before,
.social-area a[href*="facebook.com"]::before {
    color: white;
}
