Hi I would like to know how do I edit this part? To something like

"Copyright © 2007-2016 All Rights Reserved by EarthfallRO - Nostalgic For Everything.

And am I even legal to do so?

Hello there,

Thank you for reaching out to us here.

You are allowed to modify that part as our theme is licensed under GNU(GPL). The best way to modify a theme’s file is by creating a child theme. So the changes you’ve made will retain when the theme gets updated in the future. You might be interested to study about it at WordPress Codex. We have a pre-made Sydney child theme which you could use as a starter rather than building your own from scratch. Then you just need to copy the footer.php file from parent theme to child theme folder.

As an information, we have pro version of Sydney which comes with an easy option to edit the site credit. It can be easily managed from Dashboard > Appearance > Customizer > Sydney Pro options > Footer credits https://cloudup.com/c7aXqXM3T_p. You might be considering to upgrade to value our work?

Dear Deliara,

It seems like your query is relating to the current topic. But, you are currently using Astrid theme. I would like to suggest you post your query here to keep the support forum neatly organized.
