Change main menu border-top color

Hi,

I’d like change the border top color in my main nav menu but the changes I’ve made into the CSS so far did’nt get me anywhere. I identified this rule to be the one I should change:

#mainnav .sub-menu li a {
color: #fff;
display: block;
line-height: 30px;
background: #1c1c1c;
padding: 0 18px;
border-top: 1px solid #252525;
-webkit-transition: all 0.3s ease;
-moz-transition: all 0.3s ease;
-ms-transition: all 0.3s ease;
-o-transition: all 0.3s ease;
transition: all 0.3s ease;

I have made changes on it via custom CSS plugin but nothing happen or not what I want.

Thanks for helping!

Thomas

Just sorted it! It seems that the custom CSS plugin understand the rule correctly when I target only the right part of the class, FYI I entered the following CSS rule:

#mainnav .sub-menu li a {
border-top: 1px solid #e34e35;
}

Thanks
