i’ve tried many things including custom css etc

Hello @hopin,

If you mean Tagline, then you can change its font size with the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard -> Appearance -> Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

h2.site-description {
    font-size: 14px;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi,

Sorry I don’t mean that, I mean the blog summary or excerpt.

As an example, shows my blog with all the excerpts, and the font size is quite small. It is this which I’d like to increase.

http://www.letscando.com/full-blog/

You can see from the below link that the actual post’s font size (which I can change) is much bigger.

http://www.letscando.com/welcome-to-letscando/

Does that make sense?

Thanks!

Yes @hopin, that makes sense, excerpt sounds much more specific for me :slight_smile:

Please try to use the following CSS code to make excerpt’s and actual post’s font-size the same.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.blog .entry-post {
    font-size: 14pt;
}

Have a nice day!

Kind Regards, Roman.

great, thankS! worked perfectly!

Do you know what the equivalent code is to enlarge the size of the text on the tesetimonials page is?

http://www.letscando.com/testimonials/

Also, how could i remove the side bar from the testimonials page? I have already selected “full width” for the page template.

Thanks!

You are welcome @hopin!

Please replace the previous CSS rule with this one:

.archive .entry-post,
.blog .entry-post {
    font-size: 14pt;
}

You can hide (not remove) the sidebar from Testimonials page with this code:

.archive.post-type-archive.post-type-archive-testimonials #secondary {
    display: none;
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks, worked again!

My final question relates to page templates.

On the below page, I see that syndey pro should come with several additional page templates.

However, when I go to each of my pages, I see only the following templates:

default
front page
full width

Is there something I need to do to enable the other templates?

thanks

Sorted the issue out myself now! :slight_smile:

Great! :slight_smile:

I will mark this topic as Resolved.

Kind Regards, Roman.
