Centre images in a table

Hi,

I have two identical download images that were appearing on separate lines.

I have put them into a table as I didn’t know the CSS to let them flow to be next to each other.

Can these images be centre aligned and can the images be the link in addition to the text?

Thanks

HI,

Are those two buttons in separate columns?

If you have HTML access to that image, you’ll be able to add a link with an A tag. For example:

   <a href="#"><img src="YOUR_CURRENT_IMAGE_PATH" /></a>

Yes, they are images in separate table columns. Where is the center attribute for the image?

Thanks

If you can assign a CSS class name to those columns, for example: <td class="my-col-center-content">, then you can add this CSS code to your website’s Additional CSS.

.my-col-center-content {
    text-align: center;
}

I hope that helps.

Hi,

I tried all of your suggestions, could find the column HTML details, so I have got it to change in the inspect mode and changed it to:-

    .tablepress tbody td, .tablepress tfoot th {
        border-top: 1px solid #ddd;
        text-align: center;
    }

But when I add that to my CSS nothing happens? What do I need to leave out?

Hi,

Can you share a link to the page needing help with, so I can do direct inspection?

Hey Kharis,

I thought I had done this?

The page is the home page.

Thanks

Hi,

I checked your homepage and didn’t get the table. Can you take a screenshot to point me the location and share it here? Thanks!

Hi Kharis,

My mistake I’m working on a few options.

The page is here I have a separate table that I’m working on, I attach a link csv to this table…

Once the table is correct I will insert it into various pages as a shortcode,

Thanks, Paul

Hi Paul,

Try adding this CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from dashboard.

    .tablepress-id-4 .row-2 td {
      text-align: center;
    }
