Category/Archive page design

Is there a way to change the design for automatically created Category and Archive pages?

I have all News posted here https://2-the.com/latest-news/ and, as you can see, there are categories filter which I’m satisfied with. However, if I click on Category meta, it brings me to another page I can’t see how to edit.
I managed to edit the page title with this code:

.archive-title {
    font-family: 'Encode Sans', 'Open Sans','Sans Serif';
		font-size: 25px!important;
            color: #1c1c1c !important;
		font-weight: 700!important;
}

But I don’t know how I can change the excerpt font and reduce the white space between the features picture and excerpt.

Another question. Is it possible to change the entire layout of this page? I mean the way posts appear, for example? To show them in a grid too instead of blog style?

Hello,

First thanks for using our Sydney theme!

But I don’t know how I can change the excerpt font and reduce the white space between the features picture and excerpt.

Go to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS and locate the code below:

image

Then, try reducing the padding-top: 60px!important. The white space is being generate by this padding.

To change the post excerpt text style, here’s the custom CSS code you need:

body.archive .entry-post p {
    /* Your custom CSS for post excerpt text here */
}

Another question. Is it possible to change the entire layout of this page? I mean the way posts appear, for example? To show them in a grid too instead of blog style?

Unfortunately not. The category page always will follow the blog layout.

We hope this helps!

Let us know if you have more questions.

Kind Regards,

Rodrigo.
