Cannot setup blog post url

#1

Current situation :

Issue :

  • After posting, I cannot edit “Permalink”. (Only “View Post”, “Get Shortlink”)
  • If I click “View Post”, ‘cannot be found’ error occurs.
  • Every time I make post, Permalink is fixed.
  • Also, posted project also ‘cannot be found’ error occurs. (It has own permalink.)

ETC :

  • Is there way to edit project in fixed sized grid style?

Thank you in advance.

Hello there,

Thank you for getting in touch.

Regarding the permalink issue, I suggest you to change the default permalink. From your site dashboard, go to Settings > Permalink. Under “Common Settings”, select “Post name” or other option as you wish.

I hope this reply helps.

Is there way to edit project in fixed sized grid style?

In order to achieve this objective, could you please try to add the following CSS code trough the Simple Custom CSS plugin?

.project-wrap .project-item{
  width: 25% !important;
}

Let me know how it goes. I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding your stats.

Thank you for the reply!

I solved the permalink issue. Thank you for your help.

For the project style, I added css code and I got same width size. (1/4 of whole width)

I would like to make it as square shape with border space.
Would it be better to install different plugin to make it?

Hello, @Awan
Thank you. I added this trough simple custom css.
I tried like above, but doesn’t work. Maybe I did something wrong…

@rhee619 sorry for the delays, I think I missed the notification from this thread.

Your code in above is incorrect. Firstly, you have to get the “id” of the page. You can use chrome dev tools to get the ID, here is the example http://prntscr.com/9r3xjb

I open this page http://nabirobot.com/what-is-robot-party/ and the ID for those page is page-id-94

So, your code should be like this:

.page-id-94 .header-image {
   background-image: url(YOUR IMAGE URL);
}
