Cannot display testimonials section or link testimonial posts to widget

Hello

I’ve put together most of my site but for the life of me I cannot get the testimonials section to display on the website and despite creating Testimonials as a post type in Types and creating testimonial post, they do not show up in the Testimonials widget. I’ve installed the xml file and I do get this message at the bottom:

Failed to import “Service one”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “Service two”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “Service three”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “Service four”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “Service five”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “Service six”: Invalid post type services
Failed to import “John Doe”: Invalid post type testimonials
Failed to import “John Doe”: Invalid post type testimonials
Failed to import “John Doe”: Invalid post type testimonials

Is that the problem? In which case, how can I resolve it. Thanks in advance!

Hi,

You must-not use Types in order to make Sydney Toolbox to work, please see in the quick-start documentation for reference: http://docs.athemes.com/article/70-quick-start-guide - You’ve got the demo import error, because the custom post types “testimonials” and “services” aren’t setup correctly ( or missing ).
