Cannot adjust post title size

I posted this earlier within a related support topic but have gotten no response.

I am trying to change the size of the title-post unsuccessfully.

I have a child-theme and have entered this code in my style.css, as suggested in a different thread:

.hentry .title-post {
    font-size: 20px;
}

I also added this suggested code:

.hentry .meta-post {
    display: none;
}

I’ve seen no impact on posts or pages.

I want to bump the titles to 35px.

My site is http://bridge2reading.org

Thanks!

Correction … my style.css says:

.hentry .title-post {
    font-size: 35px;
}

Hello there,

That code seems correct. Where did you apply it?

Kharis

The code is at the bottom of the style.css which was created when I installed the child theme.

Here is the entire style.css

If you have a cache plugin like W3 Total Cache being enabled, clear all cache.

There is an error starting from .overlay{ line:

.overlay{
  opacity: .3;

.page-wrap {
  padding-top: 40px;
  padding-bottom: 40px;
}

It must be

.overlay{
  opacity: .3;
}

.page-wrap {
  padding-top: 40px;
  padding-bottom: 40px;
}

Ah. Thanks!

I’m glad it didn’t blow up the site!

Hello,

I have the same exact problem. I tried the given coding but it still did not work for me. I have nothing but this in my style.css

/*
Theme Name: Sydney Child
Theme URI: https://athemes.com/theme/sydney
Author: aThemes
Author URI: https://athemes.com
Template: sydney
Version: 1.0
License: GNU General Public License v2 or later
License URI: http://www.gnu.org/licenses/gpl-2.0.html
Text Domain: sydney
*/

.site-header{
background-color: transparent !important;
}

Can someone help me out with it? As you can see on www.lifeofnino.com when you click on one of my blog posts the title size appears very small compared to headings in the body text.

Hope you can help me out. Thank you!
