Can we change the mobile menu to say "MENU"?

When viewing Sydney on mobile phones, the menu shows up as a box with a few lines in it.

Is it possible to have the words “MENU” written inside that box?

This website has it setup, how did he do that?

Thank you:)

Hello,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

.btn-menu::before {
        content: 'MENU';
        font-size: 16px;
}

@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .btn-menu::before {
        margin-left: -50px;
    }
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you Roman, that is great.

However, that code replaces the menu box with the word “MENU”.

Is there a code to have the word “MENU” appear next to the box, similar as this website?

Hello,

Please try to use the following CSS code instead of previous.

.btn-menu::before {
        content: 'MENU\f0c9';
        font-size: 16px;
        margin-left: -20px;
}

@media only screen and (min-width: 768px) {
    .btn-menu::before {
        margin-left: -50px;
        content: 'MENU \f0c9';
    }
}

Kind Regards, Roman.

Wow Roman, that is perfect, thank you so much, made us very happy :)))

You are welcome!

And have a nice day :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
