Bullet points

Where in the style sheet can I change it so that

  • lists are indented? By default they appear to not be.

Hi Goose22j,

you can add this new line in your style.css:

.entry-content ul {
  padding-left: 50px;

make sure you create child theme or use this plugin so your modified file will not replaced when you update your themes

Thanks Awan – so does having a child theme make the page respond slower? Since there is one more style sheet to read?

On a related note, I ask the above question because even before adding the child theme, the site seems to respond a bit slow on my host (Newtek SBA). I ran it through a test on Google (https://developers.google.com/speed/pagespeed/insights/) and my sites scores are in the 30s and 40s…compared to the 80s and 90s scored by the Sydney demo

any insights?

You can add the code that Awan gave you directly in the style.css because we’re going to add it in the theme anyway. It’s a mistake that it’s not there.

I’m not familiar with Newtek, but the difference most likely comes from the fact that we’re using a better host. We get those scores without using a caching plugin - you should try to install one and check again after. Could you also share your link?
