Btn-menu image has broken link on home page after update

I have just upgrade my wordpress (Version 5.7.2) with sydney theme (1.77).

the website is:
http://jeanneconard-voicestudio.com/

Everything worked expect I now seem to have a broken image if I view on a mobile or if you reduce width of the window, but only on the home page, the other pages work fine. It might be that the problem was there before the update and I simple never noticed it before.

I am not sure if this bug, error or simple a typo I introduced. I am a programmer, but a bit rusty at Wordpress and Sydney theme. I am trying to find the code that added this image, I am checking html page (like child theme templates), CSS file and javascripts but I just cant find the code.

Any pointers will be much appreciated and thank you in advance.

Hello Neville,

First thanks for using our Sydney theme!

Seems that you have a old or modified code in the child theme style.css file that is causing the issue:

image

You can simply locate that code at “wp-content/themes/sydney-child/style.css” and remove, or add the given custom CSS code below at Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS to overwrite the code:

.btn-menu:before {
        content: none !important;
}

At this point the button icon will be shown, but a bit unaligned. To get it aligned please also add the custom CSS code below:

@media only screen and (max-width: 991px) {
    .btn-menu {
        margin-top: -45px;
    }
}

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
    .btn-menu {
        margin-top: 0;
        margin-bottom: 15px;
    }
}

We hope this helps!

Please try that and let us know if you need further assistance.

Kind Regards,

Rodrigo.
