Blog side bar - can't create

I use sydney pro and am currently facing a few challenges editing the blog.

1 – I am happy with the look & feel of the main blog page, except for the lack of title – do you know how I can add a title “Letscando Blog” which would appear above all the post excerpts?

2- On the actual post pages. I would like to use a side bar which will contain:

-facebook page share button
-”recent posts”
-”post categories” menu

The problem is that for my services page (e.g., I need the “request a quote” form to appear on the side menu and I can’t work out how to change this ONLY for the post pages.

I tried to use a workaround which was to use the page builder to create a two column page, and then use the right hand column to display the above “blog specific information” that I’d require. The idea was to select “full page width for single posts” for this to work. However, this approach caused the excerpts to not function correctly.

Do you have any suggestions?

Some examples of my current post pages are:

Hello @hopin,

1. Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots to illustrate your first issue?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online screenshot services.

2. Please try to use WooSidebars plugin in order to have different sidebar content on different pages.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thanks Roman.

1 - On this, I mean that on all of my pages & posts I have title at the start.

For example, on the below page…my title is “Handyman Services”.

On my blog page (, what I would like is a title to say “Letscando Blog”.

Does that make the query clearer?

2 - Okay thanks - I will try to use the woosidebars plugin to implement this and let you know if it works.

Thanks very much! :slight_smile:

Okay @hopin,

As far as I can see, all your pages and posts have titles, but posts have it under featured image.

Please try to use the following CSS code in order to add Letscando Blog title.

You can add CSS code to your site with Simple Custom CSS plugin (just copy CSS code and paste it in Dashboard → Appearance → Custom CSS after installing and activating the plugin). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme. div#content::before {
    content: "Letscando Blog";
    text-align: center;
    display: block;
    font-size: 28px;

Kind Regards, Roman.

Great thanks - I will try this.

Yes you are correct - all my posts and pages have titles, and on the blog page these titles appear under featured image. This is exactly how I’d like it.

What I’d like is to have LETSCANDO BLOG as a TITLE on the page
Is this what the css you have provided me will do?

Yes, CSS code above should do exactly this.

Kind Regards, Roman.
