Blog post title font size, color

Hi

How could I change the font on the Blog Post Title? 2 issues–size, color

Size: I’m thinking it would be useful to have the blog entry title font to be size 42.

Color: if possible I’d like to be able to change the color, too. Right now my primary color is set to d63737, which is probably the color I’d use.

I don’t know enough to use a child theme, so I’m using Simple Custom CSS plugin. I’m a complete beginner here.

Size is more important than color, but both would be great.

Thank you!!!

Hello there,

Could you please try to apply the following CSS code through the Simple Custom CSS plugin or child theme’s style.css?

.hentry .title-post {
   font-size: 43px;
}

.hentry .title-post a {
   color: #fff000;
}

Thank you for helping.

The CSS code you provided for changing the color changes the color of the post entry titles only on the masonry grid blog view. The blog post title color does NOT change on the actual post entry. That is where I’d like to see the color change–on the actual blog post entry itself.

thank you.

Hello there,

Please try this code instead of the previous one I suggested.

.hentry .title-post {
   font-size: 43px;
   color: #fff000;
}

.hentry .title-post a {
   color: #fff000;
}

Let me know how it works for you.

Kharis

Excellent! thank you!

I actually only used the first half of the code:

.hentry .title-post {
font-size: 43px;
color: #fff000;
}

That changed the color (which I made pure black), of the title on the blog entry itself, and left the primary color (which I’d set as red) on the titles in the masonry grid view. (Size changed for BOTH entry title and masonry grid-listed titles)

thank you!!!
