Blockquote challenges

#1

I would like to modify the style that is used when I include a quotation in my posts. However, I cannot seem to figure out how and where the default Hiero quotation style is coming from.

In the raw files, the only reference I can find is this in the style.css file:

blockquote p {
	line-height: 1.6;
	}

However, regardless of the changes that I make here I don’t seem able to influence the formatting in a real post.

Can somebody help me to understand how and where the quotation formatting is originating?

Hi

Can you share a link to your site, so that we can have a look?

Thanks

There’s a sample blockquote in this post:

I’d like to be able to change the style that is invoked whenever I use the blockquote tag. However, as I said, I am unable to interpret the PHP sufficiently to be able to do this.

Hi

To change the style the element you need to write your css is

blockquote p {
    // css here
}

I would suggest you to make the css changes using a chid theme or by using the my custom css plugin.

Hope it helps.

Thanks
