Appearance of blog posts on home page with Masonry layout

Hi,

While we’re filling our blog www.wir-zwei-bei.de with posts, I saw that the appearance on a large screen is unsorted with Masonry layout. I expected the oldest post at the bottom right and the latest/newest at to top left. Or with other words: the post should be sorted descending from left to right and from first to second row. Is this possible?

Please compare with the home page of our blog: the post at the end of the second row “Reise durch den Oberharz – Teil 2” is not sorted correctly. It was published later than “On the Road im alten Schweden Teil 2”.

Thanks!

Cheers,

Jens

Hello Jens,

You can think of that masonry layout as of columns, not rows. Newer posts are displayed higher. Posts are sorted from left to right only if they start from the same height. I don’t think that there is an easy way to change that without fixed post height, but it will be grid in that case.

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
