Alizee Pro Sidebar Widget will not turn off

With the exception of the home page (set to 1 column), the Sidebar widgets forces widgets to appear on all pages, even when the page is set to Template > Full Width. If I delete all of my Sidebar widgets, then a default set of widgets appear on all pages. There are some pages that I do not want ANY widgets (like WooCommerce pages, even ones set to Template > Full Width), but there appears is no way to shut the widgets (not custom or default) completely off for specific pages.

I have attempted special CSS. No result. I have attempted widget-blocking plugins. No result. If I cannot get this problem solved quickly, then this “Pro” theme is worthless to me.

Please advise. Thank you.

The white box with the COLORADO logo is the widget. If I turn this widget off, then a default set of widgets appear in its place.

Hi,

You can hide the widget areas from all woocommerce pages with this Custom CSS:

.woocommerce #secondary.widget-area {
    display: none !important;
}

Please add the above CSS to your Child Theme’s style.css or in case you haven’t setup a Child Theme already, then you can also use this plugin to add the CSS to it: https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/ so you will not loose the changes on theme updates.

Please let me know how it works.

Csaba
