Aligning text in footer

#1

How can I float text in the footer 2 and 3 areas? I would like for there to be more padding on the bottom and top.

Thank you!

Hello,

it seems that you reduced it in your own file maybe?

Otherwise use this code in a child theme or custom css plugin:

div#sidebar-footer {
  padding-top: 30px !important;
  padding-bottom: 30px !important;
}

Yes, I’ve used this code to change the size of the footer to fit the content better. Though, I am trying to realign the widgets/text within the footer. Is there a way to do that?

Try this please:

div#sidebar-footer .sidebar-column {
  text-align: right !important;
}
.userstyle-1.magic-action-box .mab-wrap .mab-heading {
  text-align: right !important;
}

Close, but that’s still not getting me quite the result that I need. Essentially, the text should be in the middle (same width and height from the top and the bottom) without me having to increasing padding/make the footer larger.

Oh, you wrote realign and not right align, my mistake :smiley: Just delete the code again if you don’t need it.

Try out this, I hope it is the right thing this time:

div#sidebar-footer {
  line-height: 250px;
}

But I can’t garantee that it doesn’t effect other sidebars or something like this in a negative way.

Also, maybe add in another code for the mobile versions:

@media only screen and (max-width: 767px) {
  div#sidebar-footer {
    line-height: 100%;
  }
}

That’s perfect! Thank you!! :slight_smile: :slight_smile:
