Adjust transitions of site-header / .float-header items seperately?

I am aware transitions can be switched off by setting transitions to “none” in .site-header.

But I would like to keep the original padding transitions of the logo and menu items so the logo and menu textbuttons still slide up and down when passing the scoll point but the transition effekt of the actual bar looks awkward in my case as i set a custom background png with some transparent part at the bottom.
See my site

Now, how to disable padding transition only for the background?
Is it maybe possible to let the background / menubar fade in seperate from logo and menu-items by opacity change or will the whole siteheader change opacity only?

Many thanks for your hint or help!

Hello there,

I think you’ll only need to enable X axis background repetition only and disable Y axis.

Try adding the below CSS code to Appearance > Customize > Additional CSS from your site dashboad.

.site-header.float-header {
  background-repeat: repeat-x;

This absolutely only disables the bar trnasition.
Thank you Karis!
