Adding text to logo in menu bar

I have placed my logo in the sticky menu bar appearing at the top of each page, and I would like to add my business name to be adjacent to the logo using the same font and color as the menu ‘tab’ items which share the same menu bar.
Preferably the business name to appear to the immediate right of the logo and on the base line.
Is there a method of doing this please, and without upsetting the responsiveness of the pages when viewing in a smaller screen, such as iPad iPhone, etc?
Please see my blog URL to illustrate the requirement:
Thank you and regards.

you have to modifying the functions.php to enable it and it’s better if you create a child theme instead of modifying functions.php directly.

let me know if you still want to make it on child theme

Thanks for your response.
Yes, if you would please explain how to create a suitable child theme to do this.
With being fairly new to Wordpress, and reading some caution in to your reply, are there some problems or idiosyncrasies when using a child theme?
Kind regards.

Ok, here is the steps:

  1. create a child theme

  2. open functions.php within your child theme and add this line:

function moesia_nav_bar() {
	echo '<div class="top-bar">
			<div class="container">';
			echo '<div class="site-branding col-md-4">';
				if ( get_theme_mod('site_logo') ) :
					echo '<a href="' . esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ) . '" title="';
					echo '"><img class="site-logo pull-left" src="' . esc_url(get_theme_mod('site_logo')) . '" alt="';
					echo '" /></a>';
					echo '<h3 class="site-title pull-left" style="margin-left:5px;"><a href="' . esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ) . '" rel="home">';
						bloginfo( 'name' );
					echo '</a></h3>';
				else :
					echo '<h1 class="site-title"><a href="' . esc_url( home_url( '/' ) ) . '" rel="home">';
						bloginfo( 'name' );
					echo '</a></h1>';
					echo '<h2 class="site-description">';
						bloginfo( 'description' );
					echo '</h2>';
			echo '</div>';
			echo '<button class="menu-toggle btn"><i class="fa fa-bars"></i></button>
				<nav id="site-navigation" class="main-navigation col-md-8" role="navigation">';
				wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'primary' ) );
			echo '</nav>';
			if ( get_theme_mod('toggle_search', 0) ) :
				echo '<span class="nav-search"><i class="fa fa-search"></i></span>';
				echo '<span class="nav-deco"></span>';
				echo '<div class="nav-search-box">';
				echo '</div>';
		echo '</div>';
	echo '</div>';
