Adding a new menu to Sydney

Greetings,
Adding a new menu to WP/Sydney.

I found great simple answers to create a new menu, here.
https://premium.wpmudev.org/blog/add-menus-to-wordpress/

And it all works fine, (summary):

> 1.) Add to functions.php
>
> function register_my_menu() {
> register_nav_menu('banner-menu',__( 'Banner Menu' ));
> }
> add_action( 'init', 'register_my_menu' );
>
> 2.) Add to header.php (or footer or sidebar).
>
> <?wp_nav_menu( array( 'theme_location' => 'banner-menu', 'container_class' => 'banner_menu_class' ) ); ?>

And now I have a bulletted list on top of my site.
So, I created a place for it, (div) styled it and it’s all fine.

What are the other CSS bits do I have to create and style?
Where are the existing nav items? I’d love to clone them, alter them for the new menu.

Thanks for any help.

Hi,

Please post a link to your website, so I can check if the default menu style can be applied to your custom menu too.

Kind Regards,
Csaba

I removed the new menu code, for now.

You can see I added a banner on top.
.top-ribbon

Thank you,

Hi,

Please add the menu, so I can check it’s style, if you don’t have the menu there, then I can’t check if the main menu’s style can be applied to that or not.

Kind Regards,
Csaba
