Adding a font family

Hi,

How can i add one more font family (Josefin sans) to be used with “customize”?

Regards
Elie

Hello again Elie,

Search desired font on google fonts, and include it in the array inside following file theme folder / includes / customizer.php, for Josefine sans it should go like this http://screencast.com/t/71Q4NqNzrGR5

All the Best!

Hi, can it be done with a simple text editor? will it save it as .php?

Regards
Elie

Hi there, I have tried it and unfortunately it does not work

Hi Elie,

It have to be replaced on two places inside that file, but after further inspection, I have noticed that also styles.php file (theme root) need some changing in order to remove + sign from Josefin+Sans.

Here are both files for you to download https://www.dropbox.com/s/ys9tjace9eeiz99/moesia-fonts.zip?dl=0 just replace these two inside the theme:
theme folder / includes / customizer.php
theme folder / styles.php

After this you should be able to choose Josefin Sans, and it will be rendered correctly.

All the Best!

Hi, it works great now, thanks…

From the customize, i can control the size of each heading. How can I control the style, make it 300 instead of 600?

Thanks and regards
Elie

Hi, I was able to change the weight for the heading, but not for each service…

my site: www.maratataki.com

on my site i want to change the weight for: Pilates technique, Gyrotonic and M-Ballet Body (equivalent to service one, service two…)

Thanks
Elie

Hi Elie,

This have to be done with custom css code. You can use css code below in order to set all headings to 300:

h1, h2, h3, h4, h5, h6 {
    font-weight: 300;
}

or use this code in order to change only services headings:

.service-title, .service-title a {
    font-weight: 300;
}

You can apply the code with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/

Best Regards!

Hi,

Excellent it works great, what about the size?

Regards
Elie

Hi Elie,

Just add font-size to previously provided code, like this:

.service-title, .service-title a {
    font-weight: 300;
    font-size: 25px;
}

and set value to your liking (default is 24px).

Best Regards!

Hi,

I have tried this before asking you, but for some reason it does not work. Normally it should have changed the size from the customize, you can see the size changing from the customize, but it does not save it…

Elie

Hi there, any solution?

Regards
Elie

Hi Elie,

Maybe there is some plugin conflict, and because of that, customizer changes won’t save. Try to disable some plugin, and test this again. If it does not work custom css have to work. In addition you can try to use !important, like this:

.service-title, .service-title a {
    font-size: 16px !important;
}

Best Regards!

Hi, only the following plugins are activated: Page Builder by SiteOrigin, Simple Custom CSS, Toolset Types, Contact Form 7, and i cannot control the font size from customizer. Do you think that activating and deactivating plugins like Easy Google Fonts and Moesia Fonts Extended could give this problem?

I any case, your suggested css works fine and this is how i used it:
h3 {
font-size: 30px !important;
}

Thanks a lot
Elie

Hello, I am having the same problem. I want to change H3 font size to 40 but the customizer doesn’t save the changes.

I saw the suggestions of adding

.service-title, .service-title a {
font-size: 16px !important;
}

Where do I add this?

This have to be done with custom css code.

You can apply the code with this plugin https://wordpress.org/plugins/simple-custom-css/
