Add Font Border Color for Site Name, Slider Font, and Menu

Is there any way to add a font border/silhouette color for words in the slider, the site name, or main menu? The entire selection of photos in the slider will be changed with new posts coming in, and often make the menu or other words invisible with the changing background.

Thank you.

Hello @sydneyuser5,

Can you please provide some explanatory screenshots of what you want to achieve?

You can upload screenshots to your WordPress Media Library and share a link, or you can use one of the online services (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Sure thing.

Hello @sydneyuser5, thank you for the screenshot.

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in DashboardAppearanceCustomizeAdditional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up). Also you can add CSS code directly to style.css file of your child theme.

#masthead .site-title,
#masthead .site-description,
#mainnav a,
#slideshow .maintitle,
#slideshow .subtitle {
    text-shadow: 0 0 2px black;
}

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.

Thank you so much, that worked perfectly.

Great! You are welcome @sydneyuser5 :slight_smile:

Kind Regards, Roman.
