Add Editor to Post Page

#1

Hi,

I’m trying to add a stylized title and breadcrumbs to the top of my blog page (post page). I’ve tried a whack of solutions but I haven’t had any luck. I’ve tried to re-add the editor on the ‘post page’ back end by adding code to functions.php and and also by using third-party plugins. They all yield the same result: I can make the editor re-appear in the back-end view, but any markup that I enter into it doesn’t show up on the front-end.

Here is the link to my post page: https://strumandwail.ca/blog
Here is an example of what I want (from another page on my site): https://strumandwail.ca/about

Any thoughts? I would appreciate any help that you can offer.

Thanks,
Evan

Hello there,

The plugin page is showing the below notification:

This plugin hasn’t been tested with the latest 3 major releases of WordPress.

Probably this could cause you that issue? Have contacted the plugin author?

If you feel it is an issue with theme specific code, you could try temporarily enable one of default WordPress themes like Twenty Seventeen.

Kharis

Yeah, thanks for the tip. Looks like both the code and the plugin work when I swap out to one of the generic themes.

Seems like this problem is specific to Moesia – any ideas on how to proceed? Anyone from aThemes able to weigh in?

Thanks,
Evan
