Add another call to action button

#1

Hi,

Fantastic theme! Just would like to add another Call to Action button next to or just below the default one. This will lead the customer onto a different page. Is that possible?

Thanks,

Tom

Dear Tom,

Thank you for asking.

I was thinking that we could do that by using jQuery .append() function. Could you please try to do the following to insert custom jQuery code?

  1. Install and activate the Header and Footer Scripts plugin
  2. Go to Settings > Header and Footer Scripts panel
  3. Paste this code into the “Scripts in footer:”
  4. Save settings

Let me know how it goes. I’ll wait to hear back from you regarding your stats.

Warmest regards,
Kharis

Hej Kharis.

I would like to use the Call To Action button to link to either one of my pages or a link. Is that possible?

Also, is it possible to make each picture in the slide have a Call To Action button that link to each a different page or link?

I really hope you can help me.
Thanks,

Maj

I solved it :slight_smile:

Maj.jensen,

I have been wondering about the exact same thing. I’d like to have a call to action button on each slider which links to their own pages.

Did you manage to figure out how to do this?

Hi Kharis,

I need different button url for each slide.

Thanks for support

Hi Kharis,
I’ve the same problem (two buttons on first slide) but I can’t solve it using your steps … I’ve try with 2 alternatives:

1:
<script>
jQuery(function($) {
var myButton = ‘My Button’;
$( ‘.text-slider-section’ ).append(myButton);
});
</script>

2:
<script>
jQuery(function($) {
var myButton = ‘My Button’;
$( ‘.text-slider-section’ ).append(myButton);
});
</script>

but none work :frowning:
any suggestion?

Thx!

You don’t have to purchase the pro version.

As alternative, you could follow this short tutorial.

got it, now what about spacing on the 2 cta buttons ( I want to move them apart

#17

Hello there,

You would add an inline CSS rule. Try to replace <a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider">My Button</a> with <a href="http://example.org" class="roll-button button-slider" style="margin-left: 15px;">My Button</a>.

Adjust the value accordingly.

Thanks for the help. I have the button now but it isn’t in the slider area. it’s in the footer.
Could you tell me how to get the second button to be next to the original button?

Hello @leonstancil,

Please share the link to your site, so I can have a closer look.
