A question about the Footer

Hello Vlad,

There’s a white narrow ribbon under site’s Footer. How can I get rid of it or at least change its color to my Footer color? Thanks in advance for your help.

You’re using a plugin by phploaded.com which adds a hidden link there and that generates that white space there. I don’t know what plugin you’re using, but you should find out and remove it, it’s not right for plugins or themes to add hidden links.

Oh D#@$! Appreciate you Vlad! You are helpful and nice as usual :wink:

Is there anyway to remove it from footer without deactivating the plugin?

Maybe this part of their plugin could be removed or edited?!?!?

function footer_linking_data(){

$settingsxx=mysql_fetch_assoc(mysql_query("SELECT * FROM <code>wp_roundabout_settings</code>limit 1"));

echo'<a href="http://phploaded.com" target="_blank">plugin by phploaded.com</a>';

add_action('wp_footer', 'footer_linking_data',1);

add_action('admin_print_scripts', 'init_wprbt_admin');

add_action('wp_enqueue_scripts', 'init_wprbt_plugin');

add_shortcode("wprbt", "wprbt_shortcode");

Yeap, if you remove echo'<a href="http://phploaded.com" target="_blank">plugin by phploaded.com</a>'; the link should disappear. Though it will appear again when/if you update the plugin.

Worked beautifully. You’re AWESOME Vlad.

Oh I forgot one more thing. Is it possible to have my sticky top bar menu over the slider page not on the top of slider? The reason why I’m asking that is I’d like to see the whole/full size picture/slides without scrolling down. When I make the top bar menu sticky it pushes the slider down.

Something like this should do it:

@media screen and (min-width: 992px) {
   .sticky-wrapper {
       background-color: transparent;
       z-index: 99999;
       position: fixed;
       width: 100%;

Wonderful! Appreciate you million times! I love the slider page this way much more better.

oops! Something bad happend Vlad. Would you please check One of my pages for instance News page? Menu is not in its place. Footer has the same issue either.

Change it to this please so it will apply only to the front page where you have the slider:

@media screen and (min-width: 992px) {
   .home.page .sticky-wrapper {
       background-color: transparent;
       z-index: 99999;
       position: fixed;
       width: 100%;

Tons of thanks Vlad! I guess I really don’t need to say it solved the issue since you already know that :wink:
Another question arose Vlad! How can I change the posts background (not the page background) with a picture or solid color?

This will do it (change #fff to the color you want):

.hentry {
    background-color: #fff;

Though I don’t see any posts on your website.

Thanks a lot Vlad! How about a pic as background?
yeah you’re right none as of now :smiley:

These links will probably help to learn about background images:

Thanks a bunch Vlad!
