A few customization issues

Hello there! This is a great free theme! I am helping a client get their site set up with it and I am stumbling across a few customizations that I would like to implement but cannot find any previous support on.

Here is the site currently: http://www.vidveramassage.com/

Please let me know if these are easy fixes that I can implement as a moderately tech-saavy graphic designer or if I should contact a developer that is working with us.

  1. Is there any way to make the header image a bit shorter? I would like the menu (logo and navigation) to be above the fold.

  2. Is there a way to make the logo a bit larger? Preferably at least 75 px tall.

  3. Is there any way to turn off the outline on the welcome text and message? I understand it’s there for legibility’s sake but I can edit the photo to make everything crisp.

  4. Is there an option to upload custom service icons?

  5. Having a bit of difficulty implementing the Contact Form on the contact page (http://www.vidveramassage.com/contact/). I did read this page: https://athemes.com/documentation/moesia/ about adding a contact form but “Moesia FP: Contact” isn’t showing up under my widget options. Please advise.

  6. Looks like the text decoration color did not update for my about and contact pages, even though I have updated all the color options under Appearance. Any ideas?

I know it’s a bit of a laundry list. If you can let me know if these are fixable/ways for me to do so, that would be awesome! If there’s a bit more complicated, let me know that too and I can have a dev take a look at it for me!

Thank you!

Hello,

  1. You can set a max-height for your header like this:

.site-header {
    max-height: 500px; /* Just an example value */
}

  1. You need to overwrite the default behaviour like this:

.site-logo {
   max-width: 100%;
   max-height: 75px;
}

.welcome-title,
.welcome-desc {
   text-shadow: none;
}

  1. Nope. But you can upload an image inside the service body itself and use this:

.service-icon {
    display: none;
}

  1. That widget is available in Moesia Pro, as it is written there.
  2. The widgets you’re using there are not part of the theme and the decorations color isn’t yet included in the color scheme. You only need to add this:

.panel.widget .widget-title:after {
    border-bottom: 6px double #ffd000;

All the code above needs to be place in a custom CSS plugin, or in a child theme.

Hello, where can I find the Custom CSS plugin?

got it…
