4 widgets instead of 3?

Is it possible to have 4 widgets instead of 3?

Managed to get 4 by changing functions.php :

$widget_areas = get_theme_mod(‘footer_widget_areas’, ‘4’);

Although, is there something quick to have the 4 widgets be next to eachother? The 4th is below the 1st now.

Hello @riderxyz,

Can you please provide a link to your website?

By the way, it’s better to do PHP changes in child theme functions.php file or in plugin like Code Snippets (otherwise you can lose changes after theme update).

Kind Regards, Roman.

Hi Roman,

Thanks for responding

I’ve got the site setup on a local network with only outgoing connections. Here’s a screenshot instead: https://gyazo.com/06302dbbee133465f7d08231fca2c1ef

The functions.php was edited in a child theme. Nothing was changed yet on CSS for the footer. I think i’ll have to change something there isn’t it?

Hello @riderxyz,

Please try to use the following CSS code.

You can add CSS code in Dashboard → Appearance → Customize → Additional CSS (WordPress 4.7 and up).

@media (min-width: 992px) {
    #sidebar-footer .sidebar-column {
        width: 25%;

Please feel free to ask any other questions that you might have.

Kind Regards, Roman.
