1.51 > An error occurred while updating Sydney Pro: Could not copy file

Apologies - can’t see a thread for this one

they recent 1.51 PRO update - I receive an error on updating (wish to remain anon my website address) via Dashboard:

Updating Theme Sydney Pro (1/1)
Downloading update from https://athemes.com/edd-sl/package_download/MTQ4ODA2MTY0Mjo1ZDAxNmUwYmVhYmYyNzlkMTU5ZWUwODkwNDNiMzRlMDoxODY1NDpkMjU5NmVjMjkwMmNiNzdhNjQ5YmYwODlmMTBjODBkMjo6MA==…
Unpacking the update…
An error occurred while updating Sydney Pro: Could not copy file. sydney-pro-ii/woocommerce/single-product/add-to-cart/external.php

I wonder should I delete the folder using my FTP software and then download from my account on AThemes.com or perhaps it is permissions on that particular folder so I need to contact by hosts/isp ?

Thanks in advance

Hello there,

It seems like there is file permission issue with the add-to-cart folder which resides in root_directory/wp-content/themes/sydney-pro-ii/woocommerce/single-product/. Try to change it to 755. If it still fails, try 777. Or, you can contact your web hosting support department to do that.

Kharis
